Velimir Gasparic, was born on december 8th 1979. in Koprivnica as 7th and the youngest child in family. As a boy, in early childhood, among the older brothers and sisters he started to draw all sorts of cartoon characters.
His talent for drawing and painting began to show during elementary school when the most of his paintings was exposed on the school walls.
In the end of year 2001 he strarted to paint more seriously. The beginning was hard but with time and persistence he found himself in technique oil on canvas. As his tehnique improved, in the end of year 2003., he decides to present his work in public.
His first independet exhibition contained about twenty lanscapes made in oil on canvas. The exhibition was opened on his 24th birthday in Koprivnica's hotel "Podravina".
His second exhibition of landscapes was opened in june 29th 2005. in Ivan Sabolic gallery in Peteranec.
Velimir Gasparic is member of art section "Podravka 72", since year 2004.
At the moment he's expending his horizon by painting acts and apstraction in oil on canvas.
